"They were not able to comprehend what you have begun to succeed," Lesslie answered Fox, nearing his desk. The instructor dropped a treat on Fox's desk, "well done, this is a good start," the teacher congratulated at the kitsune had done with the paper. "Try to get the colors inside the lines," the human instructed, relaxing the tone of voice and speaking more caringly than earlier.
Fox seemed a little confused, but his eyes lit up when he spotted the piece of candy the teacher dropped onto his desk. It was a very rare occurrence for him to get candy, and he quickly grabbed the piece and unwrapped it. He sniffed it once to make sure it was safe then happily popped it into his mouth. "Thank you." Fox said as he chewed the piece of caramel. It was rather comical watching him, almost like a dog eating peanut butter. After a few more moments he swallowed the treat and licked his chops.
It was then that the bell rang and dismissed class. Fox scooped up his picture and ran out the door, leaving a small trail of water colored paw prints behind him as he ran. He was already out the door before the teacher could try and stop him, as he wanted to show his picture off to Marisa and Gabe. "Marisa! Gabe! Look at this picture I painted!" His voice was like that of a child wanting to share his latest creation.
