Height: Five'Seven
Weight: One-hundred Twenty-Seven Pounds
Special Characteristics:
General Description: Thea is a redhead or ginger, depending on your reference. She despises anyone touching or coming near her with scissors intending on cutting it. Being possessive of her hair length, it has grown considerable long. Her hair brings out her freckles; especially in the summertime when you notice them splashed around her face. Treated exceptionally well depending on her behavior, Thea is hardly malnourished and is considered healthy. Her skin is fair and because she rarely acts out, her skin is free of scars from torture or any means of punishment. Because Thea is so normal and innocent looking, there are many who believe she isn't a mutant at all.
Average Clothing: Thea enjoys dresses or skirts, suited for more ladylike appearances. While her wardrobe isn't nearly as large as an average teenager's, she has a few outfits more than the average mutant living at Asylum 39. Likes:
- Soft things
- Gentle touches
- Mystery novels
- Spicy foods
- Having Black Rose believe she's the perfect role model
Dislikes:
- Drugs
- Sharp objects
- Unneeded violence
- Open areas
- Being talked down to as a child
Strengths:
- A sensitive mind with a sympathetic touch. She's in-tune with the misfortune of others and secretly has a soft side for gentle people or younger children. Because she's careful about displaying any emotional attachment in front of others, she can avoid just about any sort of punishment that involves using those who are close to her.
- Manipulating other people, mainly for her benefit or others. While its natural to assume Thea is the golden child, she has the tendency of trying to manipulate security guards by prying on stories of their wives or daughters. [Though it sometimes fails]
Weaknesses:
- Yearns for comfort, a place where she can escape to whether it'd be a person or place. This is normally what guards use on Thea in obeying to their commands. You never know where her loyalties lie when peace is involved.
- Open areas can be a huge risk for the safety of herself and those around her. It will confuse her further and in desperate attempt to find closure or any dark place, she will either try to blind herself or seek one out in violence.
Skills/Powers: Thea's powers can be described as hypnotic, to strongly implant a feeling or thought into someone's mind. Not necessarily mind control, her telepathic powers enables her to suggest a thought and convincingly have someone believe the thought is from them. While Thea can introduce this power simply by thinking it, it will grow considerable stronger through touch or the sound of her voice. The person she wishes to infect will feel attracted to her voice and lulled in a peaceful state.
Without the metal band, Thea has little control over the influence she has over others. Before capture, she had to simply desire something for her powers to interpret it as her will. There have been times people relived old memories, easily give in to Thea's wants, and even the illusion of love.
While her abilities activate in the past against her will and create equally disturbing situations, using her powers also brings out Thea's manipulative and power hungry persona often seducing others by stimulate the brain's pleasure centers by her touch, voice or thoughts.
desired threat/privilege level: T768
General Personality: On the surface, Thea acts and behaves as any other ordinary girl while her presence at Asylum 39 is often overlooked and sometimes ignored due to her quiet tendencies. To Asylum 39 she is often described as 'a cry-baby of the ward with little to no threat behind her powers.' While some are not phase by her non-violent gestures, others might linger how much she resembles a loved one. On the other hand, Thea is a heart-broken mess raised as a child to be and act perfect. Basically a screw up inside, Thea constantly forces herself to act mature and society friendly to avoid the repetitive voices of her parents that still ring today.
When she's not in her right mind, Thea is deemed unavoidable and easily distracted. Unlike her emotionally steady persona, pleasantly quiet and obedient to a degree; Thea acts much more like the prisoner they treat her as. Not a lover of open spaces, the behavior will arise when she comes into contact with harsh sunlight or an area larger than a school room. Blindfolding her isn't uncommon while transporting her.
In this stage she's know as an insensitive and arrogant jerk, not above harming herself to prove a point. Harming other people, however, is a rare occurrence for her. Fully aware of her predicament, Thea openly chooses to harm herself than others to protect herself from further punishment or consequences. But this does not mean, she is above manipulating others for her benefit. This behavior increases with the use of her powers as it clouds her judgment, proving to be dominate with an unquenchable thirst for affection.
Mother: Evelyn Carol Zemirah
Father: Matthew Isaiah Zemirah
Siblings: N/A
History: Thea was born the only child to Matthew and Evelyn Zemirah, a powerful couple in their own rights. As a successful businessman and a well-known attorney, the couple were constantly in the public's eyes carefully watching their every move. Part of the high-class society, Evelyn and Matthew were strict and even more difficult to please. Their pregnancy was unplanned and a huge surprise in their social calender. Neither wanting children, or at least hoped for a genius, were less than impressed the moment Thea was born. As a child, she shown no signs of great intellects or promising qualities such as high profile charisma. In fact, Thea didn't start talking until the age of three. Whatever the problems arose, Evelyn and Matthew took great care in modeling Thea after their own self.
By the time Thea turned five, her manners and vocabulary surpassed the average five year old. To the public, she had the perfect child, obedient without fault and ridiculously cute. But in private, her parents were less than supportive and often left their child with a tutor. Yet, by the time she reached ten, everything about her life style changed.
Evelyn and Matthew adored work and would have rather crawl to work dying then to miss a day. But they each began to notice how teachers and peers would treat Thea, almost as if she were perfect; undeserving grades, trophies in clubs she was never in, and even made friends with children of the rich and famous. Instead of questioning why their child developed a stroke of luck, greed clouded their eyes as they made a desperate attempt to be involved in their child's life.
After a lifetime of yearning for her mother and father's approval, they suddenly drowned her in affection and constant love. Neither of them aware at the time, her powers played a part in Evelyn and Matthew's adoration. But Thea felt surprisingly alive and enjoyed getting away with bad behavior. Breaking the mold of the perfect child, she would spend the next decade or so between the golden child and the wild child. But whenever her parents broken free of their child's grasp over them, they'd attempt to punish Thea into perfection by shoving her in a closet any time she did bad behavior.
By the time she entered high school, Thea wouldn't leave the closet. Instead of public or even private, they used private tutors for her education. Years and years would pass before the public would see the Zemirah child again. The age fifteen, Thea fell in love with a young science tutor, whom obviously didn't return her feelings. Insanely jealous and failing again and again begging him to stay with her, Thea's abilities eventually broken his will and he too refused to leave her side. Little did she know he had a girlfriend at the time, a variable that enabled the tutor to deflect her abilities. Rather than lose him, Thea convinced him to burn his girlfriend's house down.
No lives were lost that night, but it convinced Thea she was a threat. The tutor was eventually arrested of what he done, certain it was his own doing and Thea locked herself away. But her planned failed as her parents discover her true abilities. For a while they each had their own intentions for her, but the loud mouth parents immediately reached Asylum 39 and the rest is hostory.
Other/Notes: uhh, I got lazy at the end. >>;;
