Now, she glanced to Fox when he said the songs were pretty, but sad. And this brought a grim smile to her lips. She nodded a little. The songs all had meaning to her, but all were part of a past she did not bother to bring up. The first one was for her sister, because EvaLynn was reminded of her sister when she heard the song; dying young and how she was buried, or so she was told. EvaLynn even sang it now more for herself now. Though, back when she was seventeen, she had wondered if she would die at that age.
The second, well, she had sang for her sister as well, as her sister had fallen in love with a man whom was in the army, and he had died and her sister was the one whom had gotten the letter. She used to sing it to her sister to help her cope with her lost. Her sister never loved another after him. Now, the last song…well, that would be explained later. She then would wipe away the tears she had falling down her own face as she pondered all this.
A sharp gasp was the heard from her, and at first, she tensed when Fox suddenly leap out at her, hugging her. After a split second though, she relaxed, hugging him back with all of his fur. It made her smile a little more then she wandered to, but he was too cute and so friendly she could not help not to smile to him after he grinned back. “Thank you for that hug…was not expecting it…” She giggled softly, not sure how else to react to such a thing. It nearly brought déjà vu to her, as her twin sister had always done such random things to her as well.
Now, when Liadon spoke, this made EvaLynn blush even more. But…maybe that was not the only reason for why she was blushing. Nope…it was because of the fact that she noticed that he too was in tears over this song. She never even noticed he was until she saw his gloved hand move up to wipe the tears away. Why would he even tear up over her song? Her voice wasn’t –that- good, or so she thought. She nodded to what he said, and she smiled a tiny bit towards him.
“Thank you for that compliment, but my voice is not –that- good…and I am sorry that I made you tear up, Liadon. I know my voice was a little bit scratchy at the end. That must have hurt your ears…” She smirked now while she glanced at him, wondering what he would say. It made her crimson red eyes have a glint of mischief in her eyes, like she knew she was only saying that to see the reaction she would get out of him. She would then await to see what he answer would be to her words as she then quickly pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them comfortably.
-“You better behave. They loved your voice, Eva. –Yeah, sure…they’re only being nice. –NO WAY!!! Your voice is like a miracle for some people! –Not THAT good. –Yes it is! Come on, Eva. Why do you put yourself down so much? You’ve got a voice that some would DIE for! –You know…you’re annoying… -But a nice annoyance?”- Under her breath, she said softly to herself, that could be heard if they were listening and quiet enough, or else it would only come out as a mumble. “…Not really.” She didn’t even realize that she spoke that out loud as she tighten her grip a little on her knees, her left foot wiggling just a little bit.
