Basic Rules:
-Respect the Staff: Be sure to be kind and respectful to all the staff members. They were appointed to their positions for a reason and any decisions they make are for the good of the site as a whole.
-Activity: We request that each member posts at least once a week. If there is a period of time longer than that that you cannot post, please notify us in the absence board.
-No chatspeak: We do not accept chatspeak of any kind, anywhere on this forum. This includes phrases such as lol, g2g, omg, etc... The chatbox is the only place we should see these phrases. Anywhere else will not be allowed.
-Staff Decisions: All decisions made by the staff in regards to changes of the forum or concluding arguments between members should be respected and adhered to. If you have any questions or complaints in regards to a certain change or decision, please post a thread in the suggestions board. Please do not pm us unless you find it specifically appropriate.
-Positive Attitude: Please, at all times, try to keep a positive, calm attitude. Respect and be kind to fellow members and be happy that you are here and rping. We understand that conflicts sometimes arise, but if they are approached calmly and with understanding, they will disapeer much quicker.
-PG13: any and all content on this site must be kept to a PG-13 rating. This means no sex, excessive gore and cussing, and the like. This is to keep in terms of the proboards terms of service. If you wish a certain thread to go towards a sexual nature, please allow it to fade to black leave the rest to imagination.
Rping
-Post Length: I'm really not too picky in terms of post length. As long as you can get out a good paragraph in most of your posts, then you will be fine. Just stay away from one-liners, absolutely none of those will be allowed in the rp. They are annoying and hard to reply to. If you want a thread to lean toward longer posts, you may wish to specify this at the beginning of your first post.
-Characters: As of this moment all genders and all races are currently being accepted, no restrictions or special rules. However, each character you have must be on a separate account with the character's name as the username.
-Play-by's: Currently, you do not have to use a celebrity play-by for your character. If you have an anime image or artistic drawing you would like to use to represent your character, you may. However, if you do not have this, you must select a play-by so that people can at least have a general idea of how your character looks.
-Signatures: You do not have to have a signature, but if you do wish to have one please make sure that it doesnt stretch the forum. By general rule signatures are usually 500x300px and below.
Other
-Advertising: Please keep all advertising contained within the proper advertising board. This is out of respect for the forum more than anything. Its a simply rule to follow, so please do so.
-Out of Character: In the rp please use the OOC tag to show notes that are out of character. Otherwise, everywhere else is automatically considered to be out of character unless specified otherwise.
-Liquid Time: Currently this forum is allowing liquid time in terms of threads and the roleplay. If you do not know what this means, feel free to ask the staff.
